Blue Mesa Overlook

Blue Mesa is a mesmerizing paradise of place: physical, mental-emotional, spiritual. The panoramic views from the cliffs looking north and east seem to go on forever. Nature has artistically carved a landscape with changes on elevation and color in the valley below, the result of different types of rock and vegetation, as well as thee currently dry stream beds that meaner away from the bottom of the cliffs.

I sat on the cliff side for about an hour, enjoying the views seen below. Solitude. Quiet. Peace.
