Moab Mill Creek Hike

I was so happy that my friends from Boulder, Sue and Jim, visited me in Moab. That is Sue and Jim in the photo above. I had stayed with them a few nights in Boulder the previous week, and as timing would have it, we found ourselves in the same area for a campground get-together! And of course they have their wonder dog Jinx with them. They brought me to a favorite local hiking spot, where dogs can roam off leash freely. Mill Creek flows through high sandstone rock formations, providing waterfalls and pools for dipping should one desire to cool off. There were plenty of other dogs joining Jinx in doing that, as well as a handful of people, too. For us, we only got our feet wet, as there were three crossings of the creek we had to do.
